Amanda and Nick

We had a beautiful day on Wednesday for Amanda and Nick’s engagement shoot at the National Cathedral. Engagement shoots are fun and I’m always glad to work with couples whose weddings I’m not shooting. Amanda and Nick are having a small wedding ceremony without an official photographer, so they wore their wedding clothes for many of the pictures. Amanda’s lovely blue dress matched her beautiful blue eyes. And she was quite the trouper after getting stung by a bee toward the end of the shoot! Portrait shoots are usually not so dangerous. 🙂 Watch the slideshow for more!
