Maryland Maternity Family Photos – Waiting for Baby Girl

Isn’t B the most gorgeous mommy?  I enjoyed photographing this beautiful family who is adding a baby girl! She is already so loved and adored!  I’m so glad her husband talked B into capturing this special time.   Not only will the family treasure these images, but baby girl will as well!  And yes, after the fact, B was very glad she agreed to preserve in pictures this moment of family history as they excitedly await their baby girl’s arrival. 

Another peak into the process.  I set up a studio backdrop in their dinning room next to a large window, but the seamless paper wasn’t wide enough for a full length shot.  But that’s OK.  In Lightroom I adjusted the color temperature, cropping, shadows, highlights, etc.  Then photoshop can take care of the background.  And B looks so regal and classic in black and white, I really liked the feel of it for this image.
