After many attempts, over 3 months, to find a beautiful day for their engagement shoot, Friday was finally the day! Brenna and Jake were troopers as they had quite an audience at Union Station during the evening rush hour. They said they wanted the flavor of DC in their engagement shoot… 🙂 This is one of my favorite shots, requiring me to shoot between the heads of the people rushing by to get to the metro.
The mood on Liz and Mike’s long awaited wedding day was not damped by the dark clouds and humidity. This amazing couple met though Mike’s parents while he was serving in Iraq, a very long distance relationship to say the least! In the months Mike has been back, they’ve visited between VA and GA as much as possible. They have such great chemistry it’s hard to believe they’ve never even lived in the same state while they’ve been dating. Throughout it all, their families have become good friends and joined with them in celebrating their big day.
Baby Brooks loves the camera almost as much as his toes! 🙂 He was a sweet little subject as we documented his 100 days birthday.
