It’s so precious to watch big sister Claire with baby Cole. It feels like just a short time ago I was photographing Claire as a newborn and now she’s such a great helper with her little brother. I know these two will be great friends! Or Cole may have two mothers! I’ve so enjoyed capturing beautiful milestones for this wonderful family. And Cole is an adorable addition!
It was so much fun to catch up with this fun family for pictures on a gorgeous spring day. At 14 months, Josh has been walking for a while now and doesn’t let the grass grow under his feet. With so much exploring to do at the beautiful River Farm in Alexandria, VA, it was hard to get smiles out of this busy boy. But we gave him time to play and were creative, and the result was lots of cuteness and great family portraits. And the consensus seems to be that the bow tie should be Josh’s signature look, don’t you agree?
A beautiful baby under the cherry blossoms is certainly a traffic stopper and boy did Sarah Katherine draw a crowd! She enjoyed the fans, so the hoards of tourists who stopped to watch, photograph, and compliment her kept her entertained. It’s a toss up whether the christening gown or vibrant blue dress was prettier under the blossoms. But either way, Sarah Katherine was the star!
How precious is Frances, celebrating her birthday month with a photoshoot in Old Town Alexandria, VA? This girl loves an audience – she was quite the ham and so much fun to photograph! Happy 1st Birthday Frances!
These family friends from Florida were able to alter a spring break trip and hit the cherry blossoms in Washington, DC on the perfect day and fulfill a bucket list item, or maybe two, with family pictures and a walk around the Tidal Basin. So fun!
