Jan is one of Washington DC’s most sought-after photographers, with a style best described as elegant whimsy. Her vast knowledge of lighting, composure, and posing is rivaled by few professional and fine photographers today. Jan earned a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics. She later added a degree in Professional Photography. Today, she is a member of The National Association of Photoshop Professionals, The Professional Photographers of America, as well as Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. She is also an enthusiastic world traveler and has a slight addiction to dark chocolate.

Arlington VA Newborn Photos – Lucas

At three weeks old, Lucas was awake for most of his photo shoot; he didn’t want to miss anything! But I finally wore him out for a few sleepy pictures. Now he has his own newborn pictures to go on the wall with his brothers. He’s the third boy for Susan and Ariel and I enjoyed having the opportunity to catch up with Susan during the shoot. It’s fun to watch families of past wedding clients grow!

Photographing the babies of former wedding clients is always an honor. Sweet little Alivia belongs to Tricia and Reg, and looks just like her beautiful mama.
