Favorite Vendors – Sally – Platinum Case Makeup

A good make-up artist is the foundation of a successful photoshoot.  Pun or not, it’s true!  Whether it’s a headshot, portrait, engagement shoot or wedding, why not look your best? After all, you plan on keeping these pictures for a good long while, right?

I love to recommend other vendors that I enjoy working with and who I know will do a great job for my clients. Sally is wonderful to work with and makes every woman look amazing.  Not overdone, but perfectly “them”.  She listens to how you want to look.  The first time I saw her work, I didn’t even know the bride had her make-up professionally done, I just thought she had flawless skin.  Her natural beauty was simply enhanced.

I’ve photographed dozens of women of all ages and skin types that Sally has worked her magic on, and they all look picture perfect.  She is available for weddings or for any other reason you may need make-up. Choosing the right people to work with just makes life more fun.  I whole-heartedly reccomend Sally if you’re having your picture taken, have a big event to attend, or just want to learn how to apply the right make-up yourself.  Here is Sally Sargarese’s website Platinum Case Makeup.

Published – Springfield Golf and Country Club Wedding Pictures

The fabulous Australian based, international wedding blog, Love Wed Bliss, recently published Julie and Brad’s sweet spring wedding.  Julie had a vision of what she wanted her wedding to look and feel like, which her florist pulled off beautifully, and the soft colors worked so well throughout the day.  Their church was one of the lightest and brightest I’ve seen, setting the perfect mood for the day.  The pink paper lanterns added to the festive atmosphere at the reception and personalized the space.  Not to mention that Julie and Brad have some of my favorite portraits of last year!  Click here to see the whole post and more pictures.

Thank you Kym and Love Wed Bliss for the feature!

Haymarket, VA Newborn Photography – Gianna

Introducing the adorable Gianna.  At 6 days old isn’t she a little sleeping beauty? And what a great head of hair this little girl is blessed with, making her even more fun to photograph. I can’t wait to see how her personality continues to develop over the years!

Here’s more info on a newborn session for your new little one.  It’s best to have the pictures taken within the first week of life, so please contact me before your baby is born to tentatively schedule a session.

A Wedding Story – Salem, NJ and Wilmington, DE Wedding Photography

A wedding day isn’t complete until the story is told in pictures. As I carefully selected images and laid out the pages for this album, I imagined Kim and Chris’s children and grandchildren looking through the pages, being told about the beautiful New Year Eve wedding where everyone danced until midnight to celebrate the new couple and ring in the new year.  Seeing their great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all together on this joyous occasion.  A wedding album is full of sweet memories for now, and for the future.
