Georgetown Baby Photographer – Caleb

I’ve always thought the streets of Georgetown have some of the prettiest fall color in Washington DC.  Caleb enjoyed the fallen leaves and even tasted a few. He has grown so much since his spring photo shoot; it was great to catch up with him and his parents.  Hair makes kids look so much older! Caleb wasn’t in a super smiley mood, but serious baby pictures are super sweet too. The portrait shoot finished up with a little reading in the garden.

Washington DC Puppy Photographer – Layla

You may remember Amanda and Jon from their gorgeous garden wedding which I photographed at River Farm on one of the hottest July days.  Well they have a new addition to their family, of the four legged kind.  Three month old Lalya is their furry daughter and she made her modeling debut with some family photos and a few pictures featuring her.   She has some big feet to grow into, so capturing these days when she’s small enough to be held won’t last long! She is the sweetest thing and her name meaning “dark beauty” fits her perfectly.

Washington DC Engagement Photographer – Julie & Brad

Finding a sunny day was tricky, but Julie and Brad were flexible and we found a gorgeous day for their engagement pictures in Georgetown and at the US Capitol.  They were game for anything and didn’t give me too crazy of a look when I suggested things like sitting on the canal locks or throwing leaves to create a beautiful fall shower.  I love it when I have clients that trust their photographer!  Julie and Brad are a beautiful couple and I’m so looking forward to their wedding in April!

Washington DC Family Pictures – Sarah, Lauren and John

I had a fantastic time with this family, photographing all sorts of combinations of the siblings and even dad too.  The girls were sweet as they could be, and John’s lively personality was in keeping with his role as the only boy and the baby of the family.  I have a feeling he’s also the class clown! Here are a few of my favorites from their portrait session:

Old Town Alexandria Virginia Childrens Photographer – Nate and Trent

Nate has become a big brother since his photo shoot last fall.  Trent, at almost a year old now, joined him for family pictures this year and the two busy boys kept me on my toes!  Photographing children is always an adventure!  It was wonderful to see Nate and his parents again, and to get to know Trent – who had changed quite a bit from when I last saw him as a newborn!   Here are a few of my favorite portraits of the boys:
