It has been so much fun to photograph Jacob over the years! At three and a half he’s such a big boy with opinions of his own, no trace of baby left. In this portrait session we were able to capture his sweet smile, his personality and a few family pictures for their Christmas card. And at the end, Jacob dressed up in his policeman costume he’ll be wearing for Halloween. He’s quite excited about it, particularly the accessories.
Twins, Jack and Hunter, are about to turn three years old which means – picture time! It’s been so much fun as a children’s photographer to watch these sweet boys grow over the years and see them go from practically ignoring each other at two, to turning into best buddies. They are adorable boys and I always enjoy them, but don’t let their innocent smiles fool you, they had their parents and me running all over the gardens trying to keep up with them!
The fish are always a hit, too bad I can’t get my camera under the water!
Really, anything involving water is irresistible for boys!

Rich and Ogechi are getting married out of the area next year, but wanted to capture their relationship with an engagement shoot in Old Town Alexandria near their home, and I’m so glad they called me to photograph them! Ogechi was not afraid to work the camera and I love the variety of pictures we were able to capture from fun loving to smoking hot. We were having a great time, but I think there were a little relieved when the sun went down and they could give their smiles a rest. It’s hard to stop shooting when you have such photogenic subjects. Here are a few of my favorites.
It hardly seems possible that Christmas is right around the corner, but it is! For all my 2010 clients I wanted to highlight some of the Christmas card designs available to you. I had a great time photographing Marjorie and Wyndal in Crystal City – and Wyndal’s gorgeous car! First some headshots for Marjorie, who I could photograph all day long, she’s just beautiful and adorable all at the same time! Then some smooth shots of Wyndal and his Bentley. Wrapped up with a sweet photo of the couple.
