Jodi and Michael were married yesterday on her parent’s and grandparent’s anniversary. That made even the coldest and rainiest day in May special. I worked with Jodi back in my days on the Hill, and count it a privilege to capture the memories from this important day in her life. To see more of their big day, here’s a slideshow.
My good friends Cydil and Nathan and their daughter Elisona were here for a short visit this week. Cydil was just here from Kentucky a few weeks ago for a whirlwind trip to help me shoot Leriza and Roderick’s wedding, but this time everyone came and I was able to meet Ellie who was adopted from Albania 5 months ago. We took her to the zoo where she enjoyed the other kids as much as the animals! Thursday evening we had a little family photosession and I managed to capture a few good images of everyone which is always tricky with a small child. Here’s one of my favorites, and you can see more on their blog.
This may sound funny, but even though I’ve spent countless hours with Susan and Ariel’s pictures, there’s something about putting them to music and seeing them in story form that is just magical. I can watch slideshows over and over. To see more of Susan and Ariel’s beautiful day, here’s their slideshow.
I just finished Susan and Ariel’s album and wanted to share it. I absolutely love the pictures from their day and I think they came together beautifully to tell their story! To see, click here and then let me know what you think!
Multiple dogs are like multiple children in the same photograph – very difficult! Alex was such a trooper and we actually got several good shots of the three of them in spite of the dogs endless energy. This photo shoot was a surprise for Alex’s mom for Mother’s Day, so hopefully she won’t find this posting!
