This was such a fun engagement shoot. The rain was threatening, but Brette and Dan really had their heart set on photos by the water. So after spending some time by the Potomac, the sun returned and we were able to get a little color and texture in traditional Old Town Alexandria. Dan makes Brette so happy, I love the huge smile she has on her face whenever he’s near!
It’s hard to believe it’s been over four years since I was photographing baby Cameron and Muggsy. Cameron is now a very chatty, helpful and loving big brother, and Muggsy has his work cut out for him keeping up with them both! Cameron set the bar high as a newborn, but Avery was the perfect little model for his first photo shoot too!
This sweet baby boy is growing up into a busy toddler, but still just as adorable as he was a little over a year ago for his newborn pictures. I love Alex’s gentle gaze into the camera. Melts the heart!
The Hotel du Pont in Wilmington Delaware is a gorgeous, location for elegant, romantic wedding pictures. This old-world location is grand and formal and a perfect backdrop for Jen’s gorgeous crystal ballgown. It was a joy to work with this couple over their long engagement and it seemed surreal that their big day was finally happening, just as they’d dreamed. A fabulous time was had by all as they celebrated late into the night.

River Farm in Alexandria, VA is a favorite spot for me to photograph weddings for a good reason. It’s beautiful no matter the weather. Sarah and Matt were married in a garden ceremony under the historic Osage Orange tree on a hot July day. And Sarah was an absolutely stunning bride! Lots of sweet moments and memories were made for this couple and their friends and family.
When you get married on a 99 degree day and the neighborhood’s power goes out briefly, bridesmaids are really helpful!
