River Farm Wedding Pictures – Congratulations Anne and Tim!

Anne and Tim had a rainy wedding day, but it just served to make the garden and wedding colors all the more vivid.  River Farm was lush and beautiful, and Anne’s green shoes fit right in!  The ceremony was moved to the ballroom, but the rain held off for plenty of outdoor portraits.

Anne had so many creative and sentimental touches throughout the day.  Her bouquet was wrapped with lace and rings from their grandmothers.  Her veil was trimmed in lace from her grandmothers veil.  Anne and Tim are avid world travelers and are going to National Parks for their honeymoon, so the table names were all National Parks.  Anne made all the pretty signs too.  And I love the fabric patterns and the addition of succulents in the table scapes.

I’m so glad Anne and Tim had a great attitude about the unpredictable weather and thoroughly enjoyed their wedding day!

Manassas Battlefield Engagement Photography – Kaye and Andrew

Kaye and Andrew are getting married next fall.  But this isn’t their first trip down the isle as a couple.  As children they were a ring bearer and flower girl together!  Re-meeting at adults, it seems destined to be.  And they are still adorable together.  Before heading back to Texas for another year of grad school, we headed out to Manassas Battlefield for their engagement shoot.  Andrew is a Civil War history buff and his enthusiasm for the location was contagious. Lots of fields, fences, stone, and this cute couple below.  Oh, and a canon thrown in for good measure!

A hint of their vineyard wedding plans.
No, the building is not on fire, it’s a reflection of the gorgeous sunset.
