I love engagement shoots! Not only are the pictures super sweet, but it’s a great time for me get to know a couple and hear more about their wedding plans.
I’ve already so enjoyed working with Karina and Devlin as they plan their fall wedding at the Meridian House. Karina and Devlin are a beautiful couple, as you can see, and interesting people. Karina grew up in Dubai, and Devlin is COO of FoBo Gro, an historic grocery they expanded into a sandwich shop in Foggy Bottom. It’s fascinating to find an entrepreneur in DC! I know this well-traveled couple’s wedding day is going to be amazing, I can’t wait!
Jenn and John wanted to remember this sweet time together as they anticipate the arrival of their firstborn. Jenn looks amazing in these maternity portraits, with only a few more weeks to go until their baby girl arrives! I can’t wait to meet her and introduce her to the world with her newborn photos. She will be loved well by her wonderful parents!
How sweet are these brothers? They have grown up so much since their photo shoot last fall. As usual with most families, two very different personalities, but still such a strong bond already. I know they are going to have a lot of fun growing up as best buddies.
Vibrant colors make SPRING a strong contendor for the best season, but I’ll let you be the judge!

OK, these aren’t flowers, but had to throw in a Year Two attempt at dying eggs with silk ties. Toward the end we figured out the secret to more even color, so next year the third time should be the charm.
