jan michele photography is a boutique studio. This means that I only take on a limited number of weddings, so that my clients receive lots of my attention, before and after the wedding, to ensure their wedding photography is not only a good experience, but they love the results. If my clients weren’t thrilled with their pictures, then I’d be wasting my time and their money. Making client’s happy by giving them beautiful memories to look at for a lifetime is the reason I’m a wedding photographer. That may sound a little dramatic, but it’s true!
Part of this personalized service I offer is my effort to post proofs and the album design quickly. While most couples wait weeks and months to see their pictures, my goal is to post proofs within a week of the wedding and the album design within two weeks. Quite often my clients see their proofs and slideshow while still on their honeymoon and have their album design waiting upon their return. I had one couple have their completed album in their hands only a month after the wedding! I know I’m a little crazy for attempting so much work so quickly (post processing after a wedding is a minimum of 30-40 hours of work that must be done in 6 to 8 hour, uninterrupted, chunks of time) but my clients are worth the extra effort. This quick turn around time is one of the many ways my work is set apart from other wedding photographers.
I probably should also mention that every album design is completely unique, designed by me, to beautifully tell the story of the wedding day. No templates, no outsourcing. After all, creating the design and combining individual pictures to tell a story is my favorite part!
So, without further ado, Amanada and Jon’s album design that was waiting for them upon their return from Hawaii last week. They made one minor change and now it’s ready for production. I can’t wait to see these pages on beautiful metallic paper!
