What an amazing wedding day! A Catholic ceremony in Arlington, VA, then wedding party pictures in Washington, DC, then a gorgeous terrace cocktail hour at sunset and reception in the formal ballroom at the Army Navy Country Club, Arlington, VA. This couple has a huge group of family and friends – and I think they were all in the wedding party! Which made for fun pictures! But Katie was a relaxed bride and let all the bridesmaids choose any black dress, which all came together for variety in the sameness. Katie’s lace bodice had cap sleeves and a plunging back, her favorite part. A special part of the portrait time between the ceremony and reception was visiting the restaurant where they had their first date for a quick pictures, and they met at the church where they were married – so special! Congratulations Katie and Larkin!
These sweet little flower girls in their pink dresses were adorable! They were matched by three ring bearers on the groom’s side.
This is the table where they had their first date, right around the corner from the church, so we had to stop by and complete the circle!
