Christmas in Old Town Virginia is always so pretty and makes the perfect backdrop for cousin Christmas pictures! These beautiful sisters have a sweet baby boy cousin who doesn’t smile in public. Why does that often seem the case? Non stop grins at home, but no smiles for outdoor pictures. But he’s still adorable with his serious face and doggy Christmas sweater!
It’s been so much fun to photograph this family over the last few years! Mom does a great job of coordinating everyone’s clothes and I loved their Christmas outfits for these photos. And Dad did a wonderful job of getting great laughs and smiles out of the little ones for pictures showing their cute personalities. We had an extremely dreary day, practically dark, but without any remaining rain dates, I’m so glad we were able to squeeze in these pictures. The kid’s sunny smiles sure brightened the day!
I was first their wedding photographer, then their newborn photographer and now their family photographer. And I look forward to seeing them for pictures every year! The kids are growing up and each photo session is more fun than the last. Green Spring Garden was a new location to explore this year and great for family photos in the fall. Isn’t this the cutest family?
I first met this family when I photographed Allison and Adam’s wedding nine and a half years ago. Then Lindsay’s wedding a few years ago. It was so much fun to catch up with this family of triplets to photograph 3 generations while everyone was in town. Green Spring Garden in Fairfax is a great fall photo location and we enjoyed the late blooming flowers even at the end of a warm October. So many special relationships with the first grandson and nephew. And lots of fur babies!
Enjoyed meeting and photographing this family referred to me by another photography client. Most of my new clients come that way, I love and appreciate referrals! And I loved their outfits. Yellow, grey and navy is a great color combination for family pictures. Don’t they look great? And that yellow coat is too cute on this spunky little lady! I look forward to updating pictures of this family next year!
